How do we do the lemniscate for the knee doc?

The knee doesn't do the lemniscate very well. Probably a bad idea for the knee anyway. The idea of lemniscate movement will apply to the whole body, or the whole limb. Not to a single joint. The whole chain makes a lemniscate. Not just a link.

When I was learning some movements from Vidya, I would notice how she would flow into the movements and I would be like a robot. Going from point a to point b like a machine. By some fluke, I would find the flow in some movements, and then I would realise how easy it was to flow, and how such minimal effort by flow would produce such ease and balance in the body. I'm still machine, going towards flow and ease but it is the overthinking that creates the resistance to the flow. This is such a good article. It will take time to completely understand. If only the playing brain got activated more often, it was so easy when one was a child. No thinking, no resistance. Just doing. Getting hurt. Bouncing back like a rubber band.

You seem to have understood it already. Most of the meipadam moves have this pattern in them already, which is why the system is so restorative.
